data weighing
Selecting the right solution depends on your environment, required capacity, accuracy level, and connectivity needs. GRAM offers solutions for logistics, production, and food environments, from standalone scales to fully integrated systems.
If you’re unsure, reviewing application use cases or contacting our weighing experts with your requirements they will help identify the best fit.
Yes. Many GRAM solutions are designed to integrate with business systems such as ERP, WMS, and POS. Through communication protocols and technologies like Xtrem® or Z-Link®, weighing data can be transferred in real time to your systems.
Integration capabilities may vary depending on the product.
Calibration ensures that the scale measures accurately. Verification confirms that the equipment complies with legal requirements for commercial use. Certification (such as ISOCAL) provides documented proof of accuracy for audits or regulated environments.
Not all applications require certification — it depends on your operational and regulatory needs.
Yes. All GRAM equipment is delivered configured and calibrated to ensure reliable operation from the start.
If your application requires verified equipment or certification, these must be specified at the time of purchase.
GRAM products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing under normal use conditions.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper handling, unauthorized repairs or modifications, lack of maintenance, overloading, normal wear, battery damage, or exposure to water, electrical issues, or extreme temperatures.
Damage during return shipping due to inadequate packaging is also excluded.
You must contact GRAM before sending any equipment.
Do not send products without prior authorization, as they cannot be correctly processed.
Once received, the equipment will be inspected. If the issue is covered under warranty, the repair will be carried out at no cost. Otherwise, a quotation will be provided before any repair is performed.
Shipping costs, including return and reshipping, are not covered under the warranty and are the responsibility of the customer.
For out-of-warranty repairs, total costs will include shipping, service, and spare parts.
The internal battery has likely reached the end of its lifespan.
In most cases, batteries last around two years depending on usage.
You can replace the battery easily. Contact your GRAM distributor to purchase a compatible replacement.
Make sure the transport protection screws (located under the weighing platform) are fully removed before use.
If these screws are still in place or touching the load cell, the scale will not measure correctly.
If the equipment is new or has not been used for a long period, the battery may be fully discharged.
Charge the device for at least 24 hours to allow the battery to reach the required operating voltage.
Make sure the transport screws (located under the weighing plate) have been removed before first use and are not in contact with the load cell.
Also verify that the load is properly centred on the platform and that the equipment has been correctly calibrated.
For installation steps and setup guidelines, refer to the Quick Guide included with your equipment.
Delivery times depend on the destination and transport conditions. In most cases, orders are delivered within 4 to 8 business days after dispatch.
Please note that equipment requiring verification, certification (such as ISOCAL), or custom configurations may need additional preparation time before shipment.

Mass is a constant property of an object and does not change regardless of location.
Weight, however, depends on gravity and can vary depending on where the object is located.
In most industrial applications, weighing systems measure force (weight), which is used to determine mass.
The tare function resets the scale to zero after placing a container or object on the platform.
This allows you to measure only the net weight of the items added afterwards, excluding the container weight.
