GRAM Penguin connects seamlessly with Gram’s digital indicators — K3X, K3iX, K3W, K3iW — as well as the Z8 and Z8i weighing terminals, via cable or optional Wi-Fi.
All compatible models provide 3-colour checkweighing, high-resolution display modes, multi-tare management, and totalisation, powered by the platform’s integrated Xtrem® module.

GRAM Penguin integrates with Gram’s printing ecosystem through its K3 indicator compatibility — supporting the PR4 compact thermal printer and the Q2 label/ticket printer for reliable documentation and traceability. The Q1 Bluetooth label printer enables wireless printing, barcode labels and full Xtrem App integration.

GRAM Penguin offers dual connectivity through RS-232C and optional Wi-Fi, enabling direct communication with indicators, PCs, tablets and iOS/Android smartphones. Its integrated Xtrem® digital core supports both cabled indicators (K3X, K3iX) and wireless indicators (K3W, K3iW), allowing all connected devices to operate in real time. Through Wi-Fi and router integration, the platform can be accessed by any equipment on the IP network, with browser-based data capture via Chrome, Edge or Safari. Penguin works seamlessly with Xtrem PC Software, EX Link, PW Link and the Xtrem App, offering full control over data capture, display scaling, CSV export, QR-code output, multi-device management and remote configuration. The Xtrem App also supports advanced traceability, barcode scanning and multi-terminal connectivity with the Premium option. For documentation and high-visibility workflows, the platform integrates with PR4 and Q2 printers via K3 indicators, and supports the RD3 repeater display for clear remote weight indication.

GRAM Penguin integrates into GRAM,’s full installation ecosystem — including painted or stainless-steel bases with 900 mm columns, stainless U-brackets, wall mounts and ABS swivel supports for ergonomic indicator placement.
Connectivity accessories include ZLink® cables, RS-232 cables for printers and RD3, USB Direct K, USB output modules and digital expansion boards such as the 3-relay output, RTC board or additional Wi-Fi module.

GRAM Penguin supports the RD3 repeater display, providing clear, high-visibility weight information in remote or elevated positions, and the three-level LED traffic light, offering immediate visual feedback for classification and process control.

For legal-for-trade setups, GRAM Penguin can be supplied with CE verification certificates, while optional ISOCAL certificates provide personalised calibration data to support ISO-aligned quality systems.
